A root canal is devoted to saving a very infected tooth. The tooth must be opened and the tissue or root inside the tooth is taken out. The decay must be removed from the tooth canals and irrigated with a medicated solution. The canals are then refilled with an artificial nerve material and the tooth is closed with a temporary filling. A permanent crown is a recommended next step to prevent a fracture of the existing tooth. We use an advanced endodontic system, Endo-Eze, which allows for a faster treatment time and a more efficient procedure.
